University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) conducts a university level entrance examination in every year, in order to select the best candidates from India for admission to their various B- Tech programmes. JLEE  2018 Application From Started From 31st May 2018.JLEE Is referred as the joint lateral entrance exam. This exam is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. This is an opportunity for candidates, through this exam candidates can enter into the third year BE programme. Candidates can get admissions to the Engineering Colleges in Assam under the lateral entry scheme. These colleges include Assam Engineering College, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology, Bineswar Brahma Engineering College. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks secured by candidates in the admission test.

BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) 2019 is a computer-based online test for providing admission to Integrated First Degree programs offered at BITS Pilani campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. Candidates who have passed their class 12th examination with aggregate 75% marks in PCB/PCM are eligible to apply. BITSAT exam will be conducted in two slots each day. The first session will be from 9 am – 12 noon, while the second slot will be from 2 pm- 5 pm. You can choose either of these, based on the availability. There is no change in BITSAT Syllabus. Candidates must carefully go through their class 11 and 12 syllabi of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 40 questions are asked from Physics and Chemistry combined while 45 questions will be put up from Mathematics/Biology.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani will be conducting BITS HD admission test 2019 tentatively in the third week of May. Allotment into the various campuses offering M.E. courses will be open through BITS HD admission test 2019.
